Tamair
Tamair is a newborn tiger cub, not yet able to stand, with eyes closed and crying for food (or maybe a cuddle).
He has been created using all white synthetic Schulte fabric, stuffed with a combination of Bouncifill, glass beads in his tail, plastic/rubber pellets in his tummy and a small amount of steel balls in his paws. His head has been nut and bolt jointed. Each paw has been needle-sculpted and has individually applied stuffed ultrasuede pads (including, the carpal pad and the dew claw pad on the forepaws).
Tamair has needle sculpted eye sockets, a polymer clay nose and an open mouth. The mouth and tongue have been constructed using ultra suede fabric and both have been wired. The mouth has a sculpted clay base inner to maintain shape. His whiskers are horsehair.
Tamair has been scissor-sculpted and his fur markings have been completely hand shaded using an airbrush. There is an Arcas Designs fabric tag sewn in just under his tail. He measures just over 11" from nose to bottom (not including his tail).
